Lung Cancer

Many of our clients suffer from lung cancer. Asbestos causes lung cancer. While it is common knowledge that smoking causes lung cancer, the combination of smoking and asbestos exposure is deadly. The effect is synergistic, since both are potent carcinogens. Individuals previously exposed to asbestos should stop smoking as soon as possible in order to reduce the chances of developing lung cancer in the future. However, smoking does not always preclude a person or family from seeking compensation from those companies responsible for asbestos-related disease.
